Philharmonic Rise was a regeneration scheme in the heart of Liverpool's Georgian Quarter consisting of 23 existing Georgian terraced town houses.
Previously these houses had been used as student accommodation and divided into small apartments and bedsits accessed off a communal garden to the rear. This project will return them into individual dwellings accessed from the front street via their own front door with a generous private garden to the rear.
The fabric will be insulated to the latest standards and new double-glazed windows will be fitted throughout. Cast iron railings and balconies will be refurbished and the stonework and mouldings of the elevation will be repaired to reinstate the street scene to its former glory.
Internally the houses will appear brand-new with a mixture of contemporary furnishings and retained original features.
