This house was originally a small cottage which has been remodelled and enlarged by subsequent owners. The current owners are following suit.
The scheme will enable major improvements to the internal layout of the house and incorporate an additional bedroom.
The main extension is designed in a contemporary style and uses white render to tie in with the original building. The building currently has a 'lean to' wrap around addition to the main building which we retain and enlarge to one side and clad it with zinc to echo a local vernacular of having metal clad lean to's and to also break up the main volume of the building.
